The company Wtor-Steel originating from Stalowa Wola, was established in 2005 as a response to the market niche – a deficit of companies engaged in the recycling of end-of-life cars. Its first investment was the line for scrap shredding. For nearly a decade, the recycling of waste, particularly the recovery of ferrous metals, is the main activity conducted by the company, but today’s solutions are much different that the first ones. Wtor-Steel is not only a modern machinery, but also research laboratories focusing on the development of existing and future waste treatment technologies, which would not be ignored by the largest global companies.
Another reason to be proud of is the line for the production of alternative fuels from waste, launched in 2010. – In the production process, we use waste containing the energy, which can be then used safely in energy and cement industries. Usually these are waste, which are difficult to be recycled or recovered. Thanks to an innovative technology, we give them a second life.
From the very beginning, we always emphasize the implementation of modern waste processing technologies and the compliance with standards and legal regulations on environmental protection and occupational safety.
One of our underlying goals is to optimize the management of waste streams, derived from our customers, through the promotion of the comprehensive waste management.
Thanks to our actions, we largely fit into the regional system of waste recovery and metal waste recycling.
